Tips to Reduce Test Anxiety

1. Develop a study schedule and organize your studying materials,

2. Create a "Dump Sheet" of helpful information to write down when your exam begins. Ex. "The Flow Test Strategy"

3. Schedule your exam at a time and location that will create as less stress as possible.

4. Take at least 2 breaks during your exam. You can also stay seated and close your eyes for a few minutes to rest and reset your mind.

5. Stop studying a few days prior to the exam to rest you mind.

6. Challenge negative thoughts "What if I do not pass" instead "What if I do pass"

7. No last minute Cramming!

8. Take practice exams to build your confidence.

9. Prioritize your sleep and your diet.  Your body and brain need fuel to achieve high performance for test time.   Dehydration and sleep deprivation can zap brainpower!

10. Exercise! Exercise! Exercise!    Physical activity boosts endorphins, which reduces anxiety!
